E.L.F.'s stuffs are literally amazing bargains: high quality, very very affordable price.
and they are so quick in processing and dispatching orders. i ordered last thursday midnight, they dispatched on friday morning, and i recieved this on saturday morning.
The Beauty Encyclopedia in Everyday Eyes
this brown smokey eyeshadow palette contains 12 pressed powder eyeshadows,
2 cream eyeshadows, 1 black pencil eyeliner, and an eyeshadow brush.
all the colours are shimmer ones, some with more giltter some with less, from highlighting to contouring.
on the left side of the palette there's instruction for how to apply various colours, it's great for beginners.
i don't usually use eyeshadows very much. i got this is because i'm kinda inspired by the Olsen twins' makeup and would like to try it out, and this palette seems to have the colours i need.
Studio HD Powder
this High Definition Powder is from their Studio line. its packaging is lovely. very simple but professional looking. it comes with a puff, which is quite nice i think. the powder is a white, translucent powder, aiming to create a "soft focus" effect to the skin by masking fine lines and imperfections for a radiant complexion.
the powder is very fine and it feels silky. i apply it with a kabuki brush (as seen below).
i will keep using this for some more time and compare with the Chacott for Professionals finishing powder i've been using everyday.
Studio Kabuki Face Brush
hv been trying to get a nice kabuki brush for quite some time, and this brush does amazed me.
it's really really soft, and it picks up a good amount of product and gives out a natural and even distribution.
and its size is perfect. i now use it to apply the HD Powder to finish my makeup. i believe it will perform well in applying blush and bronzer too.
this purchase from E.L.F. is surprising impressive. will keep trying the other products in the future!
used to love styling monotone/ minimalistic clothes with one or two pieces of neon colours accessories.
but the colour blocking trend seems to become more and more interesting, especially in streetstyle.
have already bought a few hot pink items (these & this), might style with my camel blazer and purple jeans, getting ready for the season.
on top of that, wanna get something with the colour like that neon blue denim.
and that Zara wide-heeled satin sandal and Jimmy Choo candy acrylic clutch are both really pretty touch for a colour blocking outfit.
